Since the inception of Wave7 Optics in September 2000 and currently with Aurora Networks, Kevin Bourg has been engaged directly with the fiber to the home market.  He has been active with the Council for the past six years, serving as the Technology Lead for the Fiber Zone exhibition for the annual Conference& Expo, as a member of the Planning Committee and as a member of the review committee for paper submissions.  Bourg, who has more than 17 years of telecommunications experience, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, and a Master of Science in System Engineering from Southern Methodist University
