Among the main representatives of ANTEL were their President  Ing. Carolina Cosse, their General Manager Ing. Andrés Tolosa, and many others. We thank especially the participation of member Ing. Jorge Pierri of the ANTEL Network Planning Dept who helped coordinate the meeting with ANTEL on December 5 and 6.

Following our members only meeting on the 5, we held a day long seminar on December 6 at ANTEL´s HQs located in Montevideo. Over 100 Engineers of ANTEL attended to experience the presentations of the latest technologies and experiences by TE Connecitivyt, TELCON Draka, Prysmian, CORNING,EXFO, Wiltel, and IDETEL/UTN. The comments back from ANTEL were very positive and they have asked the Chapter members to return and repeat the seminar at their main adutorium that will house 300 technicians. Stay tuned for the next invitation!

A great session overall, thanks to all that participated in our session and that positively contribute to our efforts in the region,... and we will see you in México!
