Steve Holt has held several positions since joining KGP Logistics in 1989. Holt has over 30 years in the telecommunication industry and currently has national account and business development responsibilities associated with KGP’s nationwide product and service offerings, which includes product fulfillment, supply chain management and network deployment solutions.

Holt’s career began in 1977 for United Telephone Company of Kansas as an equipment technician. In 1982 he was promoted into Engineering where he designed some of the first fiber optic systems for United Telephone Company of Kansas. In 1984 he became a Transmission Engineer for US Telecom -- which eventually became Sprint -- and was instrumental in the deployment of the first nation-wide fiber-optic long-distance network. Upon completion of the Sprint backbone, Holt moved into Sprint’s National Operations Control Center (NOCC) as a supervisor where he had responsibility for network monitoring and service assurance.

Mr. Holt graduated Cum Laude from Ottawa University with a degree in Business Administration. Holt is active in church and community activities. He and his wife, Lorie have three grown children and reside in Bucyrus, KS.
