Korea is one of the few early-adapting countries where the most advanced u-City has made its foothold with all media throughout all sectors of society. Real IPTV via FTTH has been rolled out since 2009. Severe data rate take-ups by ISP-driven marketing competition have always been out there. Using government driven Green IT policies, Korean ISP’s have been sought for various FTTH applications and services with multiple experimental projects in all green and brown fields of the industry.

At this conference, participants are invited to hear the “Experience and Challenges in the Next Generation Network: Convergence, Green Growth and Visionary Services” To learn from experienced global operators what is required for the evolution in the broadband network, and to seek for new opportunities in the green broadband world.

In addition, we will be hearing from government and regulatory officials from around the world regarding their strategies on how they plan to use FTTX advantage within their own countries.
