For the first time in the history of the Fiber-to-the-Home Conference, Jim Farmer is not taking up space on the program this year. Instead, he is going to unload his brain of the considerable information he has been carrying around about video, in a day-long pre-conference seminar. Jim’s morning session will be an introduction to video on as non-technical a level as he can conjure up. He’ll talk a little about the history of television, starting with the first black-and-white systems, going through today’s 3D high definition. He’ll touch on the various business models of video and will get into the briar patch of broadcast vs. IPTV.
Registration fee: $350
Luncheon: one hour lunch – food is not provided
