Description
Details on the rules and the application requirements for the broadband stimulus programs at NTIA and RUS are scheduled to be released this week. Next Monday’s webinar will be an opportunity to hear Tom Cohen go through these details and to answer your questions. We will try to devote as much time as necessary to cover the programs in detail and answer all of your questions.
Presenter Bio
As the Counsel to the FTTH Council, Tom Cohen oversees a wide range of legislative and regulatory matters affecting the industry. He has more than 25 years in the telecommunications industry sector, first as a government policy maker - Assistant General Counsel for Legislation at the Federal Communications Commission and Senior Counsel at the Senate Commerce Committee - and then as a principal in firms assessing and developing communications / telecommunications properties and advising businesses.
Cohen received his JD in 1975 from the University of California - Los Angeles and a Master's Degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of California - Berkeley in 1977. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
