As a follow-up to our NOFA stimulus webinar earlier this week, our Washington counsel Tom Cohen will be back online to update us on the RUS/NTIA workshops, run through the application guidelines and, of course, to answer your questions.
In order to help us cover all the topics you want hear about, please send your questions or suggestions in advance to David St. John at media@ftthcouncil.org. But please be assured we will also be taking questions submitted during the webinar as per usual.
A number of participants in past stimulus webinars have commented on how useful they have found the information that has presented. If you haven't attended, but you are interested in the federal government's broadband stimulus programs, then be sure to join us on Monday!
Presenter Bio
As the Counsel to the FTTH Council, Tom Cohen oversees a wide range of legislative and regulatory matters affecting the industry. He has more than 25 years in the telecommunications industry sector, first as a government policy maker - Assistant General Counsel for Legislation at the Federal Communications Commission and Senior Counsel at the Senate Commerce Committee - and then as a principal in firms assessing and developing communications / telecommunications properties and advising businesses.
Cohen received his JD in 1975 from the University of California - Los Angeles and a Master's Degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of California - Berkeley in 1977. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
