Chattanooga today announced a new initiative to recruit the Nation’s top tech talent for the Gig Tank™, a summer start-up accelerator that challenges both Entrepreneurs and students to build high-speed apps and businesses on Chattanooga’s 100% fiber optic network. The mid-sized city surprised the world a year ago by completing America’s first and only community-wide network which can deliver up to 1 gigabit-per-second speeds to more than 150,000 homes and businesses in a 600 square mile area.  Read more...
